Environmental Sustainability

We take pride in our participation in the circular economy.  By repairing thousands of rods, rolls, and other components each year, we prevent them from being completely scrapped.  At the heart of our company, we are a repair business that offers our customers a cost-effective option to re-use components that would be harmful to the environment if scrapped or discarded.

We also have our own pledge to the environment, given the nature of the chemicals in our process.  Our ventilation systems are top-of-the-line, closed loop systems.  Any chrome that is evaporated from our tank is pulled directly into a ventilation hood, passed through filters, sprayed down into a reservoir, and returned to the chrome tank.  We test the integrity of this closed-loop operation routinely throughout the year, and always perform preventative maintenance to ensure that we can keep providing a net benefit to society – allowing companies to re-use their components.
